How the print on T-shirts is created

However, before this happens, it must be vectorized, or to put it simply, drawn in a format used for printing, i.e. available for various types of computer programs.

Direct screen printing

After vectorization, each graphic can be freely transformed, enlarged, reduced and changed its angle without changing the proportions and without losing quality.

Then the matrix is prepared. It is an aluminum frame on which a very fine mesh made of nylon, polyester or metal is stretched. Places called “non-printing” are introduced onto the prepared matrix. There are many ways to do this, including applying foil or paper templates to the mesh. Another method is to manually apply the solution, which once dries blocks the holes in the mesh. The graphics are applied to advertising clothing by forcing the paint through a properly prepared matrix. Direct screen printing allows you to “overlay” even the most complex patterns on various types of substrates. The first stage of preparing paper for printing is selecting the appropriate basis weight. The paper should release dye well and be resistant to high temperatures.
